How does chiropractic care help with ear infections?

haleysundby

Picture this..... your bathtub is plugged. What would you do next?

  1. Unclog the drain.

  2. Wait and hope it will drain.

  3. Drill a hole in the back of the tub.

The second two answers seem silly don't they? Why would you wait for it to drag on or worse, create further damage by drilling a separate hole?

This is how ear infections can impact our kids. Kids ears are not the same as adults. Their drainage points, called eustachian tubes, sit more horizontal than ours do as adults. This means when their nervous system is dysregulated, the soft tissue and muscle changes can cause fluid and pressure to build up in them.

By getting adjusted, we can help their eustachian tubes open and drain, avoiding antibiotics or tube surgery. Having a regulated nervous system can help them grow and thrive to their fullest potential!
